Man sent down for fucking a Chihuahua Puppy
Not very festive, but DEFINATELY newsworthy.
It sounds made up, but unfortunately it's not!
Robert Edward De Shields was sentenced to 10 years incarceration, and put on the sex offenders register for life, after being convicted of strangulation and sexual abuse of the 8-month-old chihuahua.
Permanently wheelchair-bound De Shields had been renting a room in a South Sacramento home. The owner came home from work to find him holding the dog, while it was looking scared. The next day he was found with the dog in the family's garage, and in visible pain.
A veterinary exam later found the dog had severe anal and internal injuries. The prosecution maintained he was high on meth at the time, and was a danger to the public and other animals.
The Sacramento County district attorney's office said because of this case's additional requirement that he register as a lifetime sex offender, which is unusual for a case on animal cruelty, he must now serve his sentence in state prison. Under the state's prison realignment system, he would have otherwise served the time in county jail.
