Man Dies after Rat Bites off Penis

Arun Sandhukha, 53, had been a pneumonia patient at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) since December 11, allegedly died after rats chewed off his penis.

His family arrived to find him writhing in pain, in a pool of blood.  No nurse could be found.  Arun was pronounced dead later in the day.

Well, that "bites", and gives new meaning to the term "Head Cheese".

Travelling to India where medical procedures are much less expensive has become a growing obsession with Americans and others of the western world where the high cost of health care and slow to market technolgies make getting cutting edge technology more difficult to obtain.

Perhaps it will be the newest destination for low cost vasectomies.

Getting Shit-Faced just got Easier

Scottish Spirits 80 proof single malt whisky is about to hit the US shelves in 12 oz. cans, and should sell for $5.00 can.

Those in need of avoiding glass for their pool and tailgate parties will be able to display their ignorance much quicker and much cheaper with this new-to-US packaging of a higher end beverage in a low end delivery package.

With 8 shots of hard liquor in a can that can't be resealed.... there is reason for concern.

There we have it.  If uncle Joe couldn't behave around the girls at the pool, or you thought the parking lot of your favorite NCAA football team was dangerous, you're in for a real treat now.

Big $, Big TV, Tiny Hanger

LG just announced plans to market a 55" OLED TV that is a mere 4mm thick and 16.5 pounds... all for only $2500.  The Organic Light Emitting Diode technology with its rich color saturation has been on some smart phones and at least one small TV set for a few years, but large scale OLED's have so far been to unreliable to send to market.  Samsung is reportedly not far behind.

Well it looks like TV junkies in constant pursuit of the most lifelike action will soon have another choice.  For those of us quite content with LED/Plasma sets, I'd say this bodes well for the price structure of larger sets. "Hey Hon' put on the popcorn and bring me a beer."
