Homer Simpson glue globule auction reaches £2000!

An eBay user has put a piece of dry glue that slightly resembles Homer Simpson on auction, for it to reach over £2000!

 

Seller Christopher Herbert spotted the slight resemblance to the character, and listed it on the online auction site.

Measuring just 1cm from top to bottom, Chris, 36, was amazed when his 99p auction started to rocket in price, and two anonymous bidders started a bidding war.  ‘I was amazed at how the bidding took off!' he remarked. 

According to the description on the item listing, 'This is a true to life likeness of Homer Simpson's head made naturally by an overflowing tube of Uhu glue!'

Bidding on eBay item number 230735138614 ends on Monday!


Personally, I don't think it looks much like Homer! But if some idiot wants to spend a few grand on it, who am I to argue?
